  1. I just stumbled on your site looking for recipies. I was diagnosed with Minimal change disease (call it a kidney issue) and retain water. I struggle with how to get rid of it. I notice I crave salty foods, which doesn’t help. I like to grill and marinate a lot.

    I just wanted to reach out and say how friendly your website was. Also, how well you write. Your about me page was very well written and engaging.

  2. I shop at Giant Food in Edgewater MD. and I’ve found no salt corn, green beans and ketchup. Today I found that they carry Harvest Pride No Salt Added Wheat Bread 0 sodium to make sandwiches for my husband who has CHF due to amyloidosis…I’m enjoying your website and ordering some cookbooks tonight. Thanks for making the no/low salt diet less intimidating…

    I used to be a “saltaholic” but I’m gradually changing my ways! Thanks to your low sodium recipes I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m amazed how salty processed food is when I fall off the wagon once in a while. It almost makes me sick, not to mention the fluid weight gain. Although I really don’t like to cook, your recipes help me out a lot. I feel much better when I stick to the low sodium way of life. Thanks for your website. It really is an inspiration to me.

  4. Can anyone tell me if they have ever ordered the low sodium italian seasoning from Difiore? I have tried several times to order from their website with no success. I keep getting a message that states my merchant code is invalid! Do they do business with the general public or just restaurants? I’ve sent them emails and left a voicemail also to no avail.

    • Hi George,

      I haven’t tried ordering anything from them since shortly after they started selling the seasoning. I did get a message that the website certificate had expired when I went there, so maybe they are having problems or are no longer selling online. I’ve sent an email to the contact I had. I’ll let you know if I hear anything.
