Smoked Turkey


If you have a smoker, this makes a sweet and juicy meal for a crowd, with a slightly southwestern flavor.

10 lb Whole Turkey
1 Apple,Quartered
1 Onion,Quartered
1 c Celery,Sliced
1/4 c Honey
1/4 c Lime Juice
1/2 t Paprika
1 T Cumin
1/2 t Cayenne
1/2 t Garlic Powder

Place apple, onion and celery inside turkey cavity. Smoke until done, 8-10 hours. Combine remaining ingredients and use to baste turkey during last half of cooking time.
