Oriental Salad


Another main dish salad for those hot days. This one used fresh Asian style vegetables and marinated pork chops to give you a taste of Asia in a cool meal.

1/2 lb Lettuce,Shredded
4 oz Snow Peas
2 Carrot,Sliced
1 c Cabbage,Shredded
4 oz Mushrooms,Sliced
1/2 c Red Bell Peppers,Sliced
4 oz Mung Bean Sprouts
4 Boneless Pork Chops
----- Marinade
1/4 c Soy Sauce Substitute
2 T Sesame Oil
1 T Rice Vinegar
1 T Sugar
----- Dressing
1/4 c Soy Sauce Substitute
2 T Rice Vinegar
2 T Mirin Wine
1/2 t Ginger
1 T Sesame Seeds

Thinly slice chop. Combine marinade ingredients. Place pork and marinade in a plastic baggie and marinade for 1-2 hours. Drain and stir fry until cooked through. Toss salad ingredients, top with pork slices. Spoon dressing over.
